Created in 2017 from the eagerness of a group of trekking enthusiasts, the Cammino d’Abruzzo is an ambitious project designed to showcase the region through slow and sustainable tourism.
It is a circular route of about 700 kilometres, starting and ending in Pescara, passing through 71 towns and villages, and offering walkers a rare opportunity to discover Abruzzo’s natural, artistic and cultural treasures.
Like travelling through time and space, you will follow ancient paths, wander through medieval villages, enchanted forests and wild coastlines. You will admire stunning views, savour traditional cuisine, and meet warm, genuine people along the way.
The route is suitable for everyone – from seasoned hikers to beginners – divided into stages of varying length and difficulty, so you can choose the itinerary that best suits your pace and interests.
This is an experience that invites you to reconnect with yourself, slow down, embrace nature and forge authentic connections with people you meet during your journey.
